Julia Ling - Anna Wu - Chuck

Remember Anna Wu from NBC's Chuck?
Julia Ling was born Shelwei Lin on February 14th, 1983 in Southern California.
Julia was the awesome Anna Wu on NBC's Chuck.
I don't think there has been such a combination of cute and deadly since Gogo Yubari in Kill Bill.
She can fight well enough to prompt the normally unflappable Casey to call for a background check on her when he saw her fighting.
And with good reason, Julia was one of ten finalists in the Los Angeles Region of Jackie Chan's Disciples competition in 2007.

Besides Chuck, Julia has appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 8 Simple Rules, ER, House, Grey's Anatomy and The O.C.
Julia speaks Mandarin, Teochew, German, English and is learning more languages!

Misa Campo Update

We haven't had a picture of the beautiful Filipino/Dutch model Misa Campo in awhile, so here's one to make up for that.

Namie Amuro, Awards and Tours

The MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2009 were held on Saturday May 30 at the Saitama Super Arena.
Namie Amuro won Best Female Video for her video for "New Look" beating out superstars like Thelma Aoyama, Beyonce, Britney Spears and Hikaru Utada.
She also won Best R&B Video for the video "Sexy Girl".
Namie is currently on her "Best Fiction tour" which will wind up on July 12, 2009 at Shanghai Grand Stage in Shanghai, China.
A DVD of her performance at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan was made on April 28 and April 29, 2009.
The tour is expected to set an attendance record for a Japanese female artist, with over 450,000 tickets sold.

Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda and Ai Otsuka

J Pop idols Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda and Ai Otsuka all had to cancel concerts last month because of the threat of Swine Flu.
Avex, the industry leading record label and management company decided to err on the side of safety to protect the public.
The concerts were expected to pull in at least an estimated 48,000 fans.
Rescheduled dates for the six shows in the Kansai (Western Japan) region have yet to be announced.

2007 Miss Universe, Riyo Mori

The beautiful Riyo Mori (Mori Riyo) was born on December 24, 1986 in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, Japan.
She is a dance instructor that won the 2007 Miss Universe title in Mexico City, Mexico.
Riyo was the third Japanese woman to place in the top five at Miss Universe in the past five years and after her reign, Donald Trump said that along with Jennifer Hawkins, she was one of the two best Miss Universe's of all time.
Riyo starred with two other beauty queens, Katie Blair (former Miss Teen USA 2006) and Hilary Cruz (Miss Teen USA 2007), in Donald Trump's MTV reality show Pageant Place in 2007.

Poo Priya Suandokmai / Praya Loundberg

This beautiful lady is "Poo" Priya Suandokmai also known as Praya Loundberg.
Priya Suandokmai is a popular TV actress in Thailand and is half Thai, half Swedish.
Besides TV, she has done a lot of magazine work in her native land.
Her nickname "Poo" means "Crab" and her last name Suandokmai means "flower garden".
The last article I have seen about her was in 2007, so I don't know if she is still active or not.

Nadine Chandrawinata

Nadine Chandrawinata was born on May 8, 1984 in Hannover, Germany (her family relocated to Jakarta when she was 3 years old) .
She was Puteri Indonesia (Miss Indonesia Universe) 2005, and the second Miss Indonesia to participate in the Miss Universe Pageant.
Her mother is German and her father is Chinese-Indonesian.
She is 5'8 and weighs 122 pounds.
Nadine has appeared in two movies, # Mati suri (2009) as Abel and Realita, cinta dan rock'n roll (2006) as Sandra.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of info on this lovely lady.

Kipi

The incredibly cute model and cosplayer Kipi.
Cosplay, if you haven't noticed, is very popular on the net.
And Kipi is one of the best.
She's so good that one of her nicknames is the "Goddess of Cosplay".
Kipi is as tiny as she looks at 5 feet tall and 101 pounds.

Filipina Supermodel, Bubbles Paraiso.

This beautiful lady has had some trouble with another Filipina actress Jewel Mische.
According to Jewel, at the inauguration of the GMA Network Studios, Bubbles hit her not once, but several times, including one headshot, that as Jewel said "the impact shook my head".
Bubbles also alledgedly stepped on her gown almost causing her to fall, and hid her handbag.
Maybe we should just call Vince McMahon over at the WWE, set up a match and get this settled.
