Alie Layus - Another Look

It's been over a year since I have done anything on beautiful Filipina-Irish lingerie model Alie Layus.
Alie was born on Oct, 15, 1986, and grew up in the San Francisco area and now lives in Los Angeles.
This self described dancer, model and gangster is five foot five and weighs 106 pounds.

Gong Li - Beautiful Chinese Actress

Beautiful Chinese actress Gong Li was born on December 31, 1965 in Shenyang, China.

She made her acting debut in the 1987 Chinese film, Red Sorghum. Based on a novel by Mo Yan, this film received international acclaim and won the Golden Bear at the 1988 Berlin International Film Festival.
Of course this thrust Gong into the spotlight.
She followed up her role in Red Sorghum with roles in The Empress Dowager and Mr. Sunshine.
Her fourth film Codename Cougar (1989) was regarded by critics as purely frivolous work, but for her role as Ah Li in the movie, Gong Li won the Hundred Flowers Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Her next two films brought her even more fame, A Terracotta Warrior (1990) got her nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress, and Ju Dou (also in 1990) was the first Mainland Chinese film to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Gong Li has gone on to appear in over thirty films, making her English speaking debut in 2005 as Hatsumomo in Memoirs of a Geisha.
After that she appeared in Miami Vice (2006) as Isabella and Hannibal Rising (2007) as Lady Murasaki.

She is set to appear in the 2010 drama-mystery-thriller film Shanghai with John Cusack, Chow Yun-Fat and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Then it's back to China to appear in the comedy romance What Women Want with Andy Lau.

By the way...did I mention that she was 45 years old?

Jarah Mariano - Another Look

The beautiful Jarah Mariano has been quite busy since I last did a write up on her.
This lovely lady is of Hawaiian, Korean, and Chinese descent, and was born on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Last time I mentioned that she had done ads for MAC, Armani Exchange, Sephora, Roxy Quiksilver, Rock and Republic and Abercrombie & Fitch and appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
But since then she has done a repeat performance in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions, and added a few acting credits as well.

Jarah appeared in Minority Report (2002) at the AMEX Polynesian Woman, she did four episodes of Rescue Me, she appeared in The Girl from Monday (2005) as a Classroom Student, and she appeared on Chuck as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.



Jarah also made an appearance in Jay-Z's music video "Show Me What You Got"
