Grace Park - Kono Kalakaua - Hawaii 5 0
Grace Park is in the new Hawaii Five O series.
Actually, I like this new show, even though I was a big fan of the original.
True Alex O'Loughlin is no Jack Lord, but I still like the show.
Maybe because they care enough to keep some links to the old show like keeping the theme (major point to me), going as far as having a cameo of the original McGarrett's 1974 Mercury Marquis and keeping "Book'em Dan-O".
Now back to Grace.
Grace (who was born on March 14th, 1974, Los Angeles, California, yes she is closing in on 40) plays Kona "Kono" Kalakaua.
If you remember the original show, Kono was played by actor, musician, stand-up comedian and skilled surfer Zulu (Gilbert Lani Kauhi).
Again in a bit of a homage, Grace's character is often shown surfing as well.
Well it's either a homage, or an excuse to put Grace in a bikini.
I guess this is about par for Grace, since her BSG character was Sharon Valerii or Number Eight or known by her call sign "Boomer" (later changed to Athena).
Of course if you know the original Battlestar, Boomer was played by Herb Jefferson, Jr., so Grace is used to reworking male roles.
In 2005, Grace came in at 81 on Maxim Online's 2006 Hot 100 List, and in 2006 she came in at 93.
In 2010, she came in at 60, and was the only Korean on the list.
(Although Moon Bloodgood is Dutch, Irish and Korean and she was on the list)
Not enough Grace?
