Jarah Mariano - Another Look

The beautiful Jarah Mariano has been quite busy since I last did a write up on her.
This lovely lady is of Hawaiian, Korean, and Chinese descent, and was born on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Last time I mentioned that she had done ads for MAC, Armani Exchange, Sephora, Roxy Quiksilver, Rock and Republic and Abercrombie & Fitch and appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
But since then she has done a repeat performance in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions, and added a few acting credits as well.

Jarah appeared in Minority Report (2002) at the AMEX Polynesian Woman, she did four episodes of Rescue Me, she appeared in The Girl from Monday (2005) as a Classroom Student, and she appeared on Chuck as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.



Jarah also made an appearance in Jay-Z's music video "Show Me What You Got"

Kumi Koda Updates

Since I last did an entry on Japanese singer and songwriter Kumi Koda, she has been pretty busy.
On March 25th, she released two albums, Out Works & Collaboration Best ( her fourth best-of album) and Koda Kumi Driving Hit's (her first Remix album) .
On February 3, 2010, Kumi released another best of album, Best: Third Universe and released her eighth studio album, Universe, which were packaged together.
Within a week, Best: Third Universe/Universe became number one on the Oricon weekly charts.

Besides the albums, she has also released four singles, "It's All Love!", "3 Splash", "Alive/Physical Thing" and "Can We Go Back", a cover of a bonus track on Kelly Clarkson's 2009 album All I Ever Wanted.

On August 7th, Kumi will be doing some shows on the Avex touring festival, a-nation.

And at the MTV World Stage Video Music Awards, Kumi was nominated in the Best Pop Video category
The show will be held on May 29 at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo.
